Taylor Mitchell

Taylor brings a unique blend of clinical dedication and agricultural expertise to the team at Kilmarnock Animal Hospital. A proud local with a deep-rooted passion for the industry, Taylor earned her Associate degree in Business Administration from Rappahannock Community College in 2025. She is currently expanding her horizons by pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, bridging the gap between professional animal care and the business of farming.

Her expertise is grounded in a lifetime of "boots-on-the-ground" experience. Taylor is a fixture in the local agricultural community, where she spends much of her time showing livestock and managing daily operations at her family’s farm, Ramah Farm. This firsthand knowledge of large animal husbandry and farm management gives her a well-rounded perspective that is invaluable to our practice and our clients.

When she isn’t at the clinic or managing operations at Ramah Farm, Taylor is a constant presence in the 4H community. As a dedicated advocate for the next generation of farmers, she devotes her time to 4H events and livestock programs, bridging the gap between clinical care and community mentorship. Whether she is assisting in the exam room or championing the future of local agriculture through 4H, Taylor’s work ethic and commitment to animal welfare shine through in everything she does.
