Our Policies

We strive to provide a safe, respectful, and organized environment for our patients and their families. Please review our clinic policies below to help us provide the best care possible for your pets.

Our Three Clinics:

From routine wellness to urgent care, we are a full-service general practice offering walk-in convenience for the Northern Neck.

Office hours: 7:30-4:30 Mon-Fri
Doctors hours: 9-11am and 1-3pm Mon- Fri

Saturday hours in Heathsville from 8-11am
by appointment only

Yearly Exams

Required annually for prescriptions and treatments.

No-Shows

24-hour notice required for cancellations.

We're dedicated to providing the best care for your pets. These simple guidelines help us ensure a safe, efficient, and professional experience for everyone.

Annual Wellness Check (VCPR)

To provide prescriptions and treatments, we must establish and renew our relationship with your pet annually through a physical exam.

Code of Conduct

We are committed to a respectful environment. We appreciate friendly and courteous behavior toward our staff and other clinic visitors.

Cancellations & No-Shows

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel. Missing an appointment without notice may result in a fee.

Late Arrivals

To stay on schedule for all patients, clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule their visit.

Payment Policy

Payment is due in full at the time services are rendered. We accept credit cards, CareCredit, and other standard methods. Ask our team for current details.

Safety Protocol

For everyone's safety, all dogs must be on a leash and all cats must be in a secure carrier while in our clinic or waiting areas.

Prescription Refills

Please allow up to 48 hours for our team to process your prescription refill requests correctly.

Medical Records

Requests for the transfer of your pet's medical records will be processed within 3-5 business days.
