If you have walked through the doors of Kilmarnock Animal Hospital anytime in the last four decades, chances are you were greeted by Amy’s familiar smile. This August, Amy celebrates an incredible 38 years with the KAH team, serving as our mainstay receptionist and the dedicated heart of our front office.

As a lifelong resident of Lancaster, Amy’s roots in the community run deep. Her institutional knowledge is truly unmatched—she doesn't just know our patients; she knows their families, their histories, and the local stories that make this area so special. To Amy, our clients aren't just names on a schedule; they are neighbors and long-time friends.

While she loves every animal that walks through our doors, she has a particularly soft spot for the "squishy" faces—Bulldogs and Frenchies always hold a special place in her heart.

When she isn’t managing the daily hustle and bustle of the clinic, Amy trades the phone for a rolling pin. She is an accomplished cook and baker with a particular passion for the culinary arts. Her true "superpower" lies in her stunning cake decorating; her talent for transforming flour and sugar into edible masterpieces is legendary among those lucky enough to have seen—or tasted—her creations.

Whether she is helping you navigate a busy morning at the clinic or sharing her latest baking triumph, Amy’s dedication to her hometown and her love for animals continue to make KAH feel like home for everyone who visits.
